I was having issues with a sensitive tooth and also I had bit my cheek on this side while I was eating food. So...I came to Dr. Schefdore's office to see how he could fix that issue and he used a laser that I have never heard before and...I was shocked that what he told me was you are not going to have shots today, you are not going to be numb. And I was like 'oh that...sounds wonderful cause I hate being numb'. So he did work on this tooth and I always had an issue every single time I had to get it filled..I got 6 shots the last time I got it fixed and it hurt so bad because I still had sensitivity. And even once in a while if I drank cold, very cold things or if I ate something very crunchy it would just shoot like a little pain and it was just so annoying. So when he was working on it I didn't feel a thing. All I felt was just water in my mouth and nothing else. And it was done in 10 minutes. And I didn't feel a thing which was the best because I hate being numb and that day I was numb for at least 4 hours, I got shot 6 times, and it still I still felt everything. And also, when he worked on my cheek all he did was just shine his laser and I didn't feel a thing...I was mostly just discomfort. On a scale of 1 to 10 it was a 1....I was just so glad that he was able to get rid of the pain that I had in my cheek because I couldn't even chew my food because my gum, my tooth and my cheek area would just rub against each other and now that same day I felt instant relief within 5 minutes after he did the procedure and I was never numb. So, that makes a big difference. And he was able to solve that issue. I don't have sensitivity anymore on that tooth after he used the laser and it was just the best feeling ever that I could just eat like a normal person.....The benefits from this office are that you are always the only patient here and all the care, all the attention is always on you and...if you want coffee, if you want water, if you want to watch anything on TV or music, if you're cold, if you're hot they always take care of you and they always make you feel special here at this office...I would totally recommend anyone, anyone in my family especially like my close friends like my mom, my dad, my brothers....like just anyone.
